How to Create an Instagram Account?
In order to start creating an Instagram Account, first of all, you need to download the Instagram app on your computer or phone. Download Instagram on your phone from either the Google Play Store or App Store. Google Play Store is for Android users and the App Store is for iOS users.
You can download the app on your phone simply by going to the store and searching for Instagram. Nevertheless, you can also use Instagram from the web by just going to Instagram’s website.
After that, you can create an Instagram account. I found out 3 ways to create an Instagram account, using your mobile number, email address, and using your Facebook account.
Create Instagram Account Using Mobile number
You can create an Instagram account using a mobile number. The mobile number does not have to be our own but it should not be used to make any other account. Also, the mobile number should be accessible to you as thereby you will receive a verification code in that number in order to create the account.
For Computer
Step 1: Firstly, open www.instagram.com or the Instagram app downloaded on your desktop computer or laptop.
Step 2: Fill in the required information. You need to use your phone number here. Also, enter your full name, the username in the textbox you want for Instagram and new password for Instagram.
Step 3: Click on the “Sign up” button.
Step 4: Now the account is created. Thereby, you are an Instagram user. Thereafter, the first page displays a list of people you might want to follow.
For Phone
Step 1: Open the Instagram app on your phone.
Step 2: Tap on “Create New Account” button.
Step 3: Enter your phone number.
Step 4: Insert the 6-digit verification code sent in your phone number.
Step 5: Fill up the information required.
Step 6: Now your Instagram account is successfully created.
In this way, you can create an Instagram account using your phone number. And the account setup process begins. Now you would have to add your new Username and Password. The Username must be unique which means the username must not be already taken by any another Instagram user. Meanwhile, Instagram itself checks whether the Username is unique or not.
Using Email Address
Similarly, you can also create an Instagram account using an email address. But the email address you are signing up with must be valid and the one you are currently accessing. If not, you will not be able to create an Instagram account.
For Computer
Step 1: Open www.instagram.com or the Instagram app downloaded on your computer or laptop.
Step 2: Fill in the required information. You need to use your email address here.
Step 3: Click on “Sign up” button.
Step 4: Now, your account is created. Instagram displays the list of people you might want to follow.
For Phone
Step 1: Firstly, open the Instagram app on your phone.
Step 2: Secondly, tap on “Create New Account”.
Step 3: Enter your email address.
Step 4: Now, enter your full name and password.
In this step, you can see two options. Choose the first option ‘Continue and sync Contacts’ to allow Instagram to access your contact. Otherwise, chose the other option ‘Continue without syncing contacts’.
Step 5: After that, fill up the information required.
Step 6: Now your Instagram account is created.
In this way, you can create an Instagram account using your valid email address. And then the account setup process begins. Now you would have to add your new Username and Password.
Log In using Facebook
If you already have a Facebook account, you can create a new Instagram account simply by using the same Facebook account or linking with it. For this, you need to use your Facebook username and password. Instagram Login with FB is the easiest way of creating an Instagram account. Moreover, it also extracts user information from Facebook and links your both Facebook and Instagram accounts. So when you upload photos and stories on Instagram, you can also share it to Facebook.
