The smart band was surprisingly launched in China, as the customers had no idea of the product being launched in their market. Oppo’s smart band is a premium fitness band, and it also comes in three variants (which will be discussed below). The product has slowly made its way out in the international market, but it is still unclear as to when it will be officially launched in the global market.

Oppo Band has a battery power of 100 mAh. It requires approximately 1.5 hours to charge fully.

Although both fitness bands come with a heart rate monitoring function, there’s a slight difference regarding their sensors. Redmi Band uses a 3-axis acceleration sensor for checking the user’s pulse on a daily basis, whereas, Oppo band uses a SpO2 sensor for continuous monitoring of blood oxygen.

Sports Mode

Redmi band consists of 5 sports modes, including general exercise, treadmill, cycling, outdoor running, and fast walking.

Oppo smart band have relatively more number of sports mode. It includes 12 modes, such as outdoor/indoor walking & running, outdoor/indoor cycling, badminton, swimming, weight training, free training, rowing machine, an elliptical machine.

The Redmi Band does have other models, such as Mi Band 4 & Mi Band 5. But the Mi Band 4C has a bit more advantages than the rest of its variants.

    Oppo Fashion Band
    is priced CNY 294 (the US $35),
    and Oppo Band EVA is priced CNY 299 (US$ 42).
    The Oppo Band EVA edition is expected to not make it out to the global market.
