In today’s world, security and privacy have become a major issue. The more easily it gets to communicate, the more it is vulnerable to a security breach. And the more you get popular the more risk of people trying to steal your data and information. And if you are careless enough to let your data and information in the unsecured state, you will be one of the victims. So, today we have come up with a solution to enable two-factor authentication for twitter so that you add an extra level of protection to your twitter account.
So, what exactly is the two-factor authentication?
In simple words, two-factor authentication is a security measure that adds an extra layer of security over your account password. After you successfully verify your email address and password, you will need to verify it’s you who is trying to log into your account. For this, you will have to physically verify your account. Physically in a sense that, you will have to enter the code that will be sent to your registered phone number.
Therefore, even if you have entered your email address/username and password, to get into your account you yourself need to give in the login code to the twitter login form. So, the two-factor authentication can be called as a physical security key for your twitter account.
