Banks are located pretty much on every corner of every block.  This is a place where you deposit money into a central location.  You can gain interest if you put your money into a savings account.  There are many banks around such as Bank of America, Sun Trust Bank, Central Bank, AABB.  Around four years ago or longer they have created a term called "Online Banking"  Online systems allow customers to plug into a host of banking services from a personal computer by connecting with the bank's computers over the Internet.
